The Šuran Wines biodynamic wine has an extremely concise packaging. The etiquette represents a graphic that reflects a cross section of soil. In fact, the biodynamic economy most important characteristics (the soil enrichment with natural preparations that increase the soil microbiological activity significantly) are written in small print.  The information is written in 3 languages: Italian, English and German. In addition, the letters on the label feature a text written by Italian scientist, researcher, and activist, Carlo Petrini, who founded the Slow Food International movement, in which he is criticizing mass food production and calling for environmental awareness as well as for returning to farming traditions.

When looking at the packaging itself, the question involuntarily arises – how to read such a tiny text. To do this, one should need to use a simple “tool”– a magnifying glass built into the lid of the specially designed outer packaging that contains the wine bottle.

There is no other opinion than your own, this is the principle used by its developers for the Canadian brand Subbectif Wine label.

Long before we could taste the wine and form our own idea of ​​ it, the wine world has always told us what to think about wine. Ratings, reviews, price and variety all influence how well we should think about a particular wine. How can we get rid of such an influence?

The idea is based on perforation – the information about the wine is displayed on the label as soon as the bottle is empty. It’s a great entertainment for buyers when some additional information is hidden behind the content. The work was done by the Lg2 agency.

The work has won a bronze lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and was also awarded the Epica Awards.

The usual information about the region where the wine was created is not remembered easily – too often it is presented in a familiar and ordinary format. Therefore, winemaker Johannes Gruber from the Austrian city of Mittelberg wanted to develop a design that would tell about his city. And thus, it would become his wines hallmark. There are images of the old church on Grüner Veltliner Square, a picturesque hotel on Germishter Zatz street and other sights on the various types of wines labels.

The local landmark was also the inspiration for the label for ‘Il vicolo’ Marche IGT Rosato. There is the narrowest street in Italy, 43 centimeters wide, in the town of Ripatransone, which is displayed on the bottle.

What's new can be said about such a famous region as La Rioja? The Capiscar wine creators have decided to introduce buyers to their region much closer, in this project, you will need to find the riojanisms – words that are unique to that region and compare them with ordinary words. It works as follows: raise the word and see the number, find an analogue with the same number.

The ​​consumer interacting idea with the entertainment elements has also come to oenology students from the La Rioja University, who make customized wine gifts for their relatives. The idea came from the greeting tags commonly seen on gift wrapping. A sticker pack with a grid of words from which it is possible to make congratulatory phrases is located on a bottle of wine. Additionally, blank stickers were developed on which it was possible to write, for example, a name. The project itself is not commercialized and represents a limited volume of wines. The project is called Seré Breve, which translates as "I'll be brief."

A great idea for consumer entertainment came from the Label & Litho Printing to showcase a new printing technology. The company has developed wine bottle labels that can be played with. The original gift option for many holidays.

And, finally, an example of Ukrainian craft winemaker a-o.wine is “like the final flourish or icing on the cake”, when a sad information became a label part that will be remembered for sure. "Spontaneous Fermentation. There is no sulfur. There are no other additives. Grape juice only. When poured, it was not filtered. From 1.5 tons of grapes, 1000 bottles were obtained. Well, how did it happen ... 700 exploded. There are 300 bottles  left. This is one of them. By the way, we changed the bottles and the pressure is already normal. Why do you need our problems?”
